About the Event
From 4-8pm, Catrinas and Mexican folklore art on display, along with music, dance, face painting, fun activities for the kids, and other exhibits to celebrate an Aztec tradition that has delighted audiences with color and joy. Hanford Mall has graciously embraced the cultural event with Hanford Multicultural Theater Company to make it an even more special event for the community. Come dressed in your favorite Dia de Los Muertos garb. This Dia de Los Muertos was first recorded in the 16th century by the Spanish. It was the Italians who taught sugar skills and hence the famous art of sugar skulls with ribbons of colorful sugar adorning them has not only been a treat, but an impressive art form.
