Appreciative Hanford Audience

We have been hearing good things from Fresno artists about our Whatever Open-Mic. They are commenting on our cozy space in Hanford, which we call Lil’ Brick Theater. We are hearing that artists appreciate the warm atmosphere and welcoming audience — that’s just Hanford’s heart shining through.

Even though we’re smaller city than Fresno, we have a vibrant community of artists, musicians, poets, and even a few stand-up comics with more growing every day. We’ve seen them on our stage!

Before starting our Whatever Open-Mic, our local talents would often head to venues in Fresno and Visalia. Now, they get to enjoy a nearby, intimate stage right in our theater, which rivals some in North Hollywood with its classic spotlight and authentic brick backdrop.

We've heard from many visitors how much they love having a local spot like our Lil’ Brick Theater. They also appreciate how Julio C. Gonzalez, Jr., and Megan M. do such a fantastic job hosting — always with warmth and genuine appreciation as they introduce each performer. That’s the inviting vibe we aim for!
