HMTC Partners with Warriors of the Wind to Share Veterans’ Stories

Hanford Multicultural Theater Company (HMTC) is proud to partner with Warriors of the Wind on a special community screening that brings the experiences of veterans, healing, and resilience to the Hanford community.

On August 25 at 7:30 p.m., HMTC will present a cinematic docuseries on its screen at the Lil’ Brick Theater, 119 ½ N. Douty St., Hanford.

Born from one Marine’s determination to prevent the loss of more friends to the veteran suicide epidemic, Warriors of the Wind travels through rural America, telling the stories of veterans who are rebuilding their sense of purpose, identity, and connection.

The series explores how motorcycles, nature, service, and friendship can become powerful pathways toward healing. Through breathtaking cinematography and deeply personal storytelling, viewers are invited into the lives of veterans as they navigate the challenges of returning to civilian life while finding renewed meaning through community and service.

The project also shines a light on the important role that small towns and rural communities can play in supporting veterans. At its heart is a story of brotherhood—the enduring bonds created through military service and the ways those relationships can continue long after service ends.

For HMTC, the partnership reflects its commitment to bringing diverse stories and meaningful conversations to the community through the arts. The theater believes that storytelling can create understanding, connection, and opportunities for people to see their own experiences—and the experiences of others—in new ways.
