We are enthusiastic about hosting stand-up comedy at our theater and have dedicated a lot of effort to creating a studio theater atmosphere since moving to 119 ½ N. Douty Street. The neon lights and ambiance provide a great escape, with many people noting that it feels like they are somewhere else, such as North Hollywood.
On October 5th, Dave Yates will be headlining the show, with Danny Flores as the host. Tacos San Marcos will be providing food, and we will have a selection of spirits available. For this show, you can even receive a free glass of wine; just ask me. Our goal is for everyone to have a good time.
Tickets are available on our website at www.HanfordMTC.com, or at the door. Preference for seating will be given to ticket buyers from our website.
Stand-up comedy shows generate the most revenue for us, which is particularly crucial considering the higher rent costs and utilities.
If you have friends who enjoy stand-up comedy, please share this information with them, as we need their support. With new expenses such as insurance, electric bills, and consistently increasing rent, we are reevaluating our priorities and exploring new ways to increase revenue. Right now, comedy shows are a good way.
As a nonprofit organization, we are a charitable entity that enriches the community, and we depend on the community for support. The best way for the community to support us is through financial contributions. While it may sound harsh, this is a common reality for nonprofits. Therefore, getting tickets for our show will greatly assist us.
