This month’s Comics headliner Bob Fernandez

Now for the second time we have comedians gracing our new space at 119 ½ N Douty. This time the headliner is Bob Fernandez. Who are these funny people HMTC is bringing to Hanford?

Bob Fernandez is a cable Ace Nominee and Emmy winning comedian. He is also the winner of The World Famous Comedy Store Emerging Comics 2012. He has produced live stand-up comedy shows for over 20 years as the owner of Misfit Live Comedy in Paso Robles. He has headlined Arco Arena Comedy Explosion, Casinos in Las Vegas, Reno, and the Northwest.

The feature comedian for the evening is Dana Turner. In the 4th grade her dream was to be on SNL, so there’s no better way to do that than start doing comedy in the back of pizza parlors and breweries in her mid-40’s. Dana bounced into comedy and in just a few short years went from open mics, to hosting and headlining. With a background of teaching Childbirth and Sex Ed., no topic is off limits. Her quirky outlook and vivid imagination shapes her comedy style, and has been steadily gaining fans all over, even overseas!

Our opener is Nathaniel Webb. He’s a 19 year old from Bakersfield and the winner of multiple comedy competitions and roast battles. He’s also a member of the Bakersfield comedy show runners known as Bad Neighbor Comedy.

Our MC is Trent Babb who for over 9 years has made crowds laugh. He’s a shameless goofball and passionate performer. His humor is based on his insecurities, being husband and father. He’s influenced by Jim Carrey and Brian Regan. Trent is a larger than life performer that gives his all on stage. He is a proud family man that doesn’t care for drama, he gets enough of that at home.

Tickets are available on our website at for $15 a person or you can get them at the door for $20 a person. There are two shows to select from. An early show which is at 6pm and a late show at 8:30pm. This comedy is for mature audiences.
